Elly got a tummy bug this Saturday (while out on her first play date!) but by Sunday she was back to being her spunky self. Boo to tummy bugs!

Low Key

Nothing very exciting has been going on lately. I was a bit sick over the weekend and ended up calling in sick for Monday and Tuesday. I rested and now feel much better...can't wait for Friday. (Every work week should consist of only three days...yes?)
Anyhow we haven't been doing much, rather boring...but it just how we like it. Playing on the Wii, playing card games, watching the Olympics. Fun stuff.

**This just in...getting a foot of snow today. Joy! At least we look cute in our snow boots.

Sarah Dog

Tofu Tuesday

I was sooooooooooo excited to pick up the new Weight Watchers Magazine and even more so when I saw that they had some easy peasy new veggie recipes! ANNNNND a WHOLE article on eating meat free!! It's a great read...could they have done more...well maybe but hey at least they shouted out a bit about us veg heads.

Also wanted to give a shout out to something new I've found: Healthy Choice new dinners!! Oh ya they are low in calories, easy, quick and best of all REALLY GOOD! I haven't found one that I don't like yet. Thank you so much Healthy Choice for making something new! I was getting tired of my old staples of mac and cheese or spaghetti.

Please, please, please go read this post!!! Just saying =)

Snow Fun!

So it snowed...it snowed and it snowed and it snowed some more. It was beautiful, watching the snow was great. Watching Sarah and Elly watching the snow fall was hilarious. Sarah barked, I think she thought the snow was attacking the house and Elly just kept begging to go outside and play in it.My toaster is under there some where...can you see it?
Elly and Jon went out yesterday and made a snow fort. It was so cold and I kept hearing Jon tell Elly that they were only staying out for 2 minutes, 20 minutes later they came back in.

5~He has determination. Never tell him he can't do something.

7~He tries to fix stuff, even if he has no clue how. God bless him.

Well kinda...HAHAHAHAH! I know I say that a lot...truth be told, I'm too busy and tired to think of new recipes to try. By the time I get home I just want to whip up something easy or not at all and just crawl into bed. I know pathetic.

Grammy's
