Sid the Science Kid
So yesterday I picked up my darling little girl from school; we talk about school and her day...blah blah blah. Then Elly lays this interesting fact on me:
Momma did you know that a worm eats and poo's out of the same hole?
I was taking a drink of water and driving as she said this...not a good combo I know. I spit water out of my mouth, swerved a bit but all was good.
Is this what they are teaching you at school Elly?!?!
Giggle, giggle...No Momma it was on Sid the Science Kid.

Whimsical Stitches
Over at Gohn Crazy (my partner in Tofu Tuesday) I won a little scarf one day. It's super cute and I love it! It is sooooo soft and it came in quite handy today seeing as Mr. Snow came back today. Brrrr!! Kelli did such a great job and was able to whip me up something fast, cute and exactly what I wanted!! I wanted something neutral that I could wear with whatever I wanted that day. Whether it be blue, purple, yellow...whatever. Thank you Kelli so much! Me muy, muy, muy el like-o a whole lot!
Since I was getting the scarf in the mail and I just saw on her website that she made the most adorable little tooth fairy pillow and it so happened that Elly had another tooth lose...I begged Kelli to make me one of those too. Alas Elly had other plans and lost the tooth before Kelli even made one stitch. Sigh...never fear Elly has many more teeth to go. Isn't it so cute on the back it has a pouch to place the tooth in for the Tooth Fairy! Nifty!

Meet Trudy!!
So we hmmmm and haaaaaa'd about it and then I bought her. (No that's not me...just some blond fit person strutting her stuff on Trudy, I do like that red chair though...cute huh). She arrived on Monday and I was quite terrified of putting her together because of all the reviews saying a piece was broken and things were missing. To my delight she was in tact and everything was there. My awesome hubs worked carefully and spent the whole evening putting her together. Love that man!
Elly begs to get on her, so after I worked out I let her have a turn. "Momma make it go faster!"
Are you nuts, hold on child...weeeeee!!

Family Fun
And being a baaaad Mommy I forgot what his name is...let's call him Stew. Stew and Elly get a long great.
Stew often times is a chin rest, perfect when Mommy is asking the little wee one to smile for the camera cause her hair is so cute with the pink clip in and that jacket is sooo adorable and to JUST SIT STILL FOR 3 SECONDS PLEASE!
Finally thank you Stew...perfect Elly. Whew! No crazy eyes, toothy smile...love it!
Now Stew can you help Big J and make him smile?

Tooth #2
Whew the tooth fairy is getting a lot of business from our house this month. We have tooth #2 out...just a couple weeks ago we had tooth #1. Look at that smile now though...I love it!!

Tattoo
I wonder if I just gave my parents heart failure? HAHA!! No not me, although I'm not opposed to tattoos...someday maybe I'll get ink. =)
Big J this weekend though...he got inked. In honor of his marathon this is what he got:
26.2 and then his time underneath on his right leg. I'm still getting used to it; last night he was wearing shorts and I did a double take and thought he had dirt or something on his leg...HA!

Let it Snow
A LOT! Holy moly!
I like looking at the snow...
I like taking pictures of the snow...
however I do not like driving in the snow.
Snow is not pretty when you're driving in it.
Snow is not fun when you're driving in it.
It's scary...it makes me tense up...makes me pray that I soon get a job that only requires me to drive a 3 minute commute. HA! So ya this past week it snowed a lot in Ohio and therefore I was late to work most days and didn't have time to sit down and blog. Not that I do that at work. :)
So mother nature, I've had enough, I know it's only January but will you be a doll and just let it melt and throw this girl a little sunshine? Oh and with 70 degree weather?
None of these mind games where it's bright and sunny with a 22 degree temperature.
I'm not asking much.

Clips
Anyone who knows Elly knows how much she loves getting her hair done.
HAHAHAHAHAH!! Ya right.
Anyone who knows Elly knows how much I struggle to even brush her hair! She hates getting her hair brushed...cowers at the hair brush and cowers at the spray bottle filled with de-tangler stuff. She has such thick fine hair. Don't even ask what she does when I come at her with a barrette or rubber band.
So I had to laugh (and grab the camera) when she came in with do-dads in her hair (and shirt). She's so funny...definitely keeps me on my toes!!
