Elly's 6th Birthday Party

We celebrated Elly's 6th birthday at our local park. Ever since we've moved to Ohio this park has been our home away from home. Many summer weekend you will find us here, we love it! It was one of the reasons we bought our home where we did.

Presents and cupcakes....mmmm!

Happy Birthday to you! Darn wind kept blowing out the candles before El could. It was quite funny actually. =)

Cupcake attack...

Then all the kids thought it was hilarious to use the frosting as lipstick.

Come on Mommy gimme a kiss....

Ooookay! Smooch!

Jon and I...we shared a cupcake promise. Every now and then you can't resist a pink cupcake!

Aunt Colleen loves cupcakes!

Uncle Brady loves cupcake as well!

Presents!!!

She had a lot of helpers and got such great gifts!!

The aftermath...Andrew really wanted the goody bags...or the cake popsicles (my favorite).

So cute if I do say so myself...Elly decorated.

Nana Joan, Papa Ray and Great Nana Mary came to celebrate.

All her friends...and a new furry friend that she got for her birthday. We had a great day!

And about 1 hour after the party while showing her Aunt and Uncle our town....it got very quiet and someone got very sleepy.

awww! Looks like it was a great time!! LOVE the cupcakes on that stand all decorated up. VERY CUTE! Funny about the candles. At least you didn't accidentally buy trick candles like I did for the boys...

And that's great some of your family was able to make it out for her birthday!! You never told me that part!
