School Photo FAIL!

Pick out the perfect outfit...make sure it's washed...not wrinkled...brush baby girls hair and pray that by the time her school starts at noon it still looks decent...even put a cute clip in her hair...cross your fingers....pray...cross your fingers....pray.
Month later husband opens school bag on Monday morning realize pictures were in the folder since Friday...bent....devasatation....look at pictures...see that her jacket was left on...no clip in the hair and half way smiling.
Ho hum...pat yourself on the back that you are so anal about getting daughter's pictures done professionally twice a year...at least it's just school pictures and you buy just a few for memory sakes...could have been worse...I've seen worse...I had worse...she's still pretty gosh darn cute.

It would be hard to get a bad pic of that cutie!

seriously, WHY do they send the pics home with kids???? MAIL THEM, or send us home a note that they're ready to be picked up... SHEESH!

I wondered about the coat being still on??? Did she insist on it or something? LOL

Oh sister, nothing can compare to my 1st grade pictures! My mom was on vacation and I was left with my dad--on picture day! The horror! I wore my Easter dress which I LOVED complete with puffy sleeves and all. I did my hair in a sideponytail, but it wasn't all the way to the side, so it just looks like I have this tuft of hair coming out of nowhere, and huge, HUGE fish earrings. Good Lord. My mom was horrified when she got the pictures. As was I. I still am.

Elly is precious!

I wish teachers and the photographers did more to HELP with this. Last year I saw a photographer take a pic of a kid who had a BIG chunk of hair in her face and not say a word.
