Christmas Questionnaire

Theta Mom Christmas Questionnaire:
1. Have you started your Christmas shopping? Ummmm no but Big J has!
2. Tell me about one of your special traditions: We open one small gift on Christmas Eve. I get so anxious that I just can't wait for the big day. We also go for a Christmas ride the week of Christmas. It's so fun and cozy.
3. When do you put up your Tree? If I had it my way I'd put it up November 1st but Big J insist we wait until after Thanksgiving.
4. Are you a Black Friday shopper? I love the excitement of it, but I'm so not a morning person. We have gone out around 10am ish it's not so bad.
5. Do you travel at Christmas or stay home? I have done both. When we lived in California some years we would drive to my parents (2hours) and some years they would come to us.
6. What is your funniest Christmas memory? The year I got my first bike...it was purple with the banana seat. I was so excited that year that I woke up extremely early but my Mom made me go back to bed. She was already awake prepping Christmas lunch/dinner.
7. What is your favorite Christmas movie of all time? Dr. Seuss How The Grinch Stole Christmas...I love Cindy Lou Who! =)
8. Do you do your own Christmas baking, what’s your favorite treat? Baking. HA! Last year I thought I would be totally Martha Stewarty and make (healthy)cookies from scratch! Ummm ya didn't work...splenda plus low fat butter...just don't make good cookies. Now I know some of you could make them yummy but I just did something WRONG last year. So this year I'm cheating and buying the already made dough and plopping those baby on the pan and waaa la!
9. Fake or Real Tree? I always feel guilty about this because my Dad is a lumber jack...but we Fake-It-All-The-Way (sorry Dad). Every year we've bought a real tree it dies with in a week. In fact El's first Christmas we went through two trees...it was sad.
10. What day (as a mom) does the actual panic set in to get it all done? A week before usually!
11. Are you still wrapping presents on Christmas Eve? Yes.
12. What is your favorite family fun time at Christmas? Waking up early, diving into the gifts, drinking coffee, watching the parade...I love Christmas morning.
13. What Christmas craft do you like the best? Gingerbread House...I love making that with Elly.
14. Christmas music? (Yes or No) If yes, what is your favorite song? Yes! I love it all!! Jessica Simpson Christmas Album is beautiful.
15. When do you plan to finish all of your shopping? Ummm I guess I should start soon huh!
