Pumpkin Patch

It was a beautiful fall day on Saturday so I loaded up El and Big J and off to the pumpkin patch we went. (It was the same place that Big J ran his 1/2 marathon the weekend before and is just really beautiful!!)

Elly was really excited to ride the train she was the caboose. Latterly we threw her in after only entering the pumpkin patch for 30 seconds.

Then we went on a hay ride to the big pumpkin patch. It was really bumpy and at one point I lost my camera but a good Samaritan jumped off the ride and ran and got it for me, while Big J just sat there. HAHAHA!! I was just shocked it fell out of my pocket.

As you can see the pumpkins were already picked through, but we still had fun searching for the perfect pumpkin.

How bout this one Elly?

Nah too small.

Hmmm how bout we go to Sam's Club and pick one up?

Okay and can we get a pretzel and a Icee too?

After the hay ride we went on to the petting zoo and El feel in love with a sweet donkey. She was just too cute talking in a high pitch voice to Eeyore.
I'll come back and see you next year, I promise!

On to the pot belly pigs, she promptly named Piglet.

I wasn't quick enough but here she was feeding a goat (can't really see it), which tickled her hand and she thought it was the greatest thing ever! Giggle, giggle!

It was absolutely perfect weather and we had so much fun!
