Oooops I forgot to give an update over the weekend about Elly's first day of kindergarten. She was so excited to go that she would barely pose for a few pictures. Don't fret a little bribe here or there and I got what I wanted. HA! 
Now I don't wanna brag but I think she was the cutest kid in the class and stylish...gotta love the orange bracelet!!

And I cried after this was taken...but I wasn't the only one. Big Bad J had a few tears too.
I know, I know but it is mean, just MEAN, to not let us walk our child the first day of kindergarten to her class....JUST MEAN! She walked all nervous and everything to her classroom. Cry!

And yesterday she had her first homework assignment! Who knew she loved pink and puppy dogs? =)

You didn't get to walk her into class on the first day????? No wonder you said "the longest hallway ever" on FB (or was is FM?). THat is NUTS. I get to walk J down to class tomorrow (assuming he's well enough to even go!) and even hang out for a few minutes if I want. Kinders need their mommas on the 1st day! (and mommas need their kinders on the 1st day! LOL)

Oh, so sweet. Isn't being a mom the best?!? I think it's rediculous that they wouldn't let you walk her to class. What, parents are not allowed in the school? Did they forget that the kids have parents?
I understand why they have that rule, but it still sucks! We should get that right. We birthed them, raised them and got them to this point. But it looks like she did great and had an awesome first day!
You can't walk them to there class the first day?! That is a stupid rule! Looks like she was ready though!!
