See Big J, See Big J Run...

Big J is running in a 1/2 marathon this Sunday, wish him luck!! He's hoping to qualify for New York. He has to come in 1:23...that's 6:20 per mile...and that's real fast. He's been fighting a bit of a chest cold this week so is nervous he might not do it. But if I know Big J, and I think I do, he'll come in with minutes to spare.

Good luck Big J, New York here he comes!

aaaaahhhhh!!!!! I'm so excited for him!!!!! MAN!! That time is NUTS. My dream is to qualify for the Boston marathon- and I think it's going to take me at least 2 years to do it.

I swear when I read this it said Boston.

You have QUALIFY to run NY???

I didn't know that!!!! When I ran NY all I had to do was raise $3,000 for charity. .... COOL!

There are 3 ways to get into New York.

1. Lottery (random drawing)

2. Charity (raising money for one of a few charities)

3. Qualify (you can qualify with a half or full marathon time)

I want to say thank you to all of Kaci's bloging peeps that sent me there positive wishes. It was a very cold and windy race but i did it.

Amazing! I will NEVER run that fast, unless being chased by an axe murderer who is threatening to never let me go to target again. But, until then? I'll stay at this speed! Way to go!
