Earl

I posted about my nemesis, before but these weeds are outta control again! Just take a look at this picture...okay but don't look at me...look at Elly or this ENORMOUS WEED!! I'm 5'6 or 5'5 (okay fine) 5'3 (shut up) and this weed is as tall as me. I'm afraid to pull it...it might eat me or fight back or...AWHHH!! See I'm holding on to Elly...take me instead not my beautiful daughter!!!! I think we should give this weed a name...I like Earl or Frank personally.

♥ That is huge! It looks like the ones that were growing in my back yard before we moved. I took a weedwaker to them and it was like chopping down a tree! :)

BTW I love the name Elly!

we had one of those on the side of the duplex we were renting right before we got married. I hadn't ever set foot in the side yard and one day I did and jumped back a step when I rounded the corner and came face to face with that thing!! LOL Is it all super spikey/prickly, too? I had to hack it down with a shovel because it was too spikey to touch to pull out and then I had to dig out the five pound root ball. WEEDS!!! I hate them

I have a family of those bastards. I'm so sick of weeds. It doesn't pay to weed much because they come back twice as bad. ~sigh~ I think I may have to join and name them. Then they will belong. *L*

oh we have one of those in our back yard and it actually is really pretty when it blooms, so we kept it :)

And don't feel bad you and Merianne are taller then me, I am BARELY 5'1" - LOL!

I think you better pull it and carefully get rid of it, not spreading seeds! Do it fast or next year it will have a family!

Ewww, I hate giant weeds! That would freak me out too and there's no WAY I'd be pulling that out myself. :) I like the name Earl!

How about Leif? It's a punny name! That is one ginormous weed. I bet it just appeared one day, too. Weeds grow super fast. Well, that's what my husband tells me when I point them out to him...

Sometimes I have areas in my yard that aren't doing well, but the weeks are growing and from far away it makes the grass look green and I tell our yard people not to put anything on the grass to kill the weeds in the yard because at least it is green - tee hee! This weed of yours looks like a little tree - I'd leave it there - HA!

Take care - Kellan

Hey! Great weed! We have a saying at our house..."If it's green, it stays." So, on our 2 1/2 acres, we have a lot of weeds. And I like the name Earl.

And 5'3"? I'm 5'2", so you're taller than me. I'm a midget. Poo!

I live in a gated community which REQUIRES both front & back yards ASAP. BUT...when the lot next to me was still a lot, there were weeds (even though "maintenance" was supposed to be "on top of it") & one day I threatened to go to Home Depot & get that really strong weed killer that ends up making your soil non-fertile for about 5 years. They were out that VERY day!

By the way...I LIKE BRUCE!
